Best night of sleep followed by wonderful hot, fresh, full breakfast. Desk attendant was super receptive to feedback I gave her (minor issues) and I felt assured she would handle it and not just brush me off as most hotels do when you are checking out. She was very genuine and sweet (don't remember her name but she deserves props--morning of July 28). THANK YOU!!!!
In all my years of traveling I don't think I've met a nicer bunch of people from the front desk to the cleaning people..they have been wonderful and I am grateful for them during my stay!! They work hard to make you happy and that is rare these days. Good job and God bless you all!!!!!
From the minute I step in the elevator, I had concerns about the cleanliness of this place. There were finger prints from top to bottom, and the floor was dirty from a spill. The hallway carpets were stained and dirty. There was mildew developing around the tub, our curtains had tears in them and I'm not sure the last time the comforter was washed. The linens are tread bare, wash cloths and bath mats have frayed edges, windows are dirty and it looked like a dog had peed on the front of the AC. For what we are paying I expect better than this.
Bed/mattress was good for my sore back. Took awhile for hot water to reach us on the second floor. Service was good. Room was clean. Thermostat worked. Excellent BBQ restaurant next door
I had made a reservation months in advance in anticipation of being in a wedding in the area. I had called two days before to ensure an early checkin since my children were in the wedding. The manager said she would put a note and told me to call back first thing on the morning of. I called back that morning and was told they could see my note but to call back again closer to 1:30 because they couldn’t ensure an early check in. I called back and got a voicemail. We had to be at the wedding at 2 so I said in the voice mail we wouldn’t be there for an early check in and we would be there after the wedding. The hotel called me at 7:30 pm and left me a voicemail asking if I would be coming that evening. I called back within 20 minutes and left another voicemail saying yes, we would be there after the wedding. When we got there at 9:30 pm I was told they had given my room away because they didn’t think I was coming and I must have gotten confused about my check in date. They said they would happily move my hotel stay for the day after. I had already paid for the room and I expressed my frustration since I had spoken to the hotel staff multiple times about our plans and that they didn’t answer their phone so I left multiple voicemails. The manager told me they had called me five times that evening which was untrue. When I told her I’d be happy to show her my phone log, she told me she could not help me because they’re were sold out and I needed to immediately leave the hotel. Poor customer service and poor management.
