The food was mediocre at best and the prices are quite a bit higher than most restaurants in the area. Some how two steak quesadillas cost us $42 when the signage in the restaurant says they are $12.99 each. When questioning the staff they said taxes and $1 extra for the steak, but those number still don’t add up. Additionally, the staff isn’t very friendly. The guy who took our order didn’t great us when we came in or offer any help with the menu, he just stood there quite and punched stuff in on the register. Probably won’t be coming back here again. It was definitely not worth the price. EDIT: I realize that prices are up all over the place, but I can still go sit down at an actual restaurant and have a drink and fresh cooked meal rather than the fast casual style experience (with steak that is chopped up and dry like hamburger) for less. Plus you have a digital menu, update the price or don’t expect people to pay it without questions.

They have tacos! This place popped up as an ad on my social feed so had to try it. Only open 4 weeks is tough enough, but open 4 weeks inside a pandemic is brave. We had to support and see how the tacos were. Super friendly staff, very clean and they have indoor and patio seating. My son and I both ordered 3 Carne Asada street tacos each with cilantro and onion on them. Also, got a side of chips and guacamole. The carne meat was super tender and almost shredded which I enjoyed. I was super thrilled with the amount of meat they laid in each taco. The guacamole is more on the crema feel, but was super tasty. 6 tacos, 1 drink, and guacamole and chips came to $36 which is a bit high for me, but helping small business I’ll do it.

Well I was excited to try this place as I heard good things. Food wasn’t bad but holy cow was it over priced. Don’t believe me, see the picture. This was $26 and change. Go back to the old joint. Good food but $2.50 per side (beans straight from a can) and on top of that they charged me $.52 for each sauce. Much better Mexican food in the area for less than half the price plus they have salsas bars and don’t charge for tiny little cups of sauce.

This evening (Jan 8) we placed an order of several food items then drove back 22 miles only to find that 1/2 the order was incorrect. 1. Ordered our fries with salsa on the side, and received no salsa 2. Ordered and paid for a smothered carnitas burrito, which was not smothered. 3. Ordered a street taco combo meal - we received no toppings on any of them, nor did we receive the side of fries 4. Cartel fries (only item pictured) - we paid nearly $16.00 for both, shown is the amount of fries you receive. 5. Ordered chipotle carnitas taco and did not get 6. Received no sauce of any kind with the food 7. We tipped nearly $13, not sure what for I contacted the restaurant and the gentleman I spoke with was very apologetic about our experience. He said that it gets very busy there during the time that we went, and that orders can often be misunderstood. He listened calmly to our issues and discussed with the Management. The management offered to make up for all of their mistakes by offering us a side of fries (again, see photo). I told them that we cannot drive 50 miles to get a side of fries. He apologized and said this is all they are willing to do. I will be disputing the cost of this food as I do not agree that paying for something that we did not get is fair, but management was not willing to listen. Also, we won’t be back. Just beware.

I don’t understand the bad reviews for this place. Their street tacos and chilaquiles alone are amazing! My family is super picky about Mexican food (we have high expectations) and we are very impressed with this place. The service is a bit slow but it’s worth it. My son loves the breakfast burrito and the small one is enormous. Try them out a couple of times until you find the dish you love!
